Peacefully at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012. Ruth Marian Stahls (nee Edsall) of Owen Sound, in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Daniel William Stahls. Loved mother of Barry Stahls and his wife, Val, of Sudbury and Eunice Stahls, of Owen Sound. Dear grandmother of Barry Stahls Jr. and his wife, Susanne, Tammy Stahls and her partner, Henry Vander Heide, both of Owen Sound and Jeffery Stahls and his partner, Amanda Gillis, of Tottenham. Remembered by six great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers, James Edsall, of Welland Port, Thomas Edsall (Josie), of Alberta, Robert Edsall (Alice), of Gravenhurst, William “Bill” Edsall (Lillian), of Utterson, Eric Edsall (Juanita), of Burks Falls: her sister, Alice Parries of Essex; her sister-in-law, Mary Edsall, of Huntsville. Ruth will also be remembered by family friend, Brian Morris and Val’s mom, Betty Gabert. Predeceased by her parents, James and Verlie Edsall; her brother, Kenneth Edsall; her sister-in-law, Edith; her brother-in-law, Albert Parries.

A Funeral Service for Ruth Stahls will be held at the BRIAN E WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario, N4K – 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. Visiting one hour prior to service. Spring Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
