Mrs. Lenore Traplin
Sunday, April 08, 1923 - Thursday, January 07, 2010
Peacefully at Hannah Walker Place in Owen Sound, after a struggle with Alzheimer's, on Thursday evening, January 7th, 2010. Lenore Dorothy Traplin (nee Baker), of Owen Sound, at the age of 86 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Arthur Traplin. Loving mother of Don Traplin and his wife, Jane, of Kingsville, Robert Traplin and his wife, Jane, of Orillia, Cecille Traplin and Susan Brown and her husband, Garry, both of Owen Sound. Proug grandmother of Jeff, Angie, David, Jason, Trevor, Todd, Tracy and Michelle and great-grandmother of seventeen great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Liz Reid and her husband, Bud, of Annan. Lenore will be sadly missed by her feline companion, GiGi. Predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Gladys Baker and her son, Ted Traplin. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Lenore Traplin at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1450 - 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound, on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Father David Reilander officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
