Mr. Charles McPhatter

Monday, March 17, 1930 - Thursday, January 14, 2010

Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Thursday morning, January 14th, 2010.  Charles Wesley McPhatter, of Meaford and formerly of Annan, at the age of 79 years. Dearly beloved husband of Ruth McPhatter (nee Bowser).  Loving father of Ross McPhatter and his wife, Lynn, of Leith, Stephen McPhatter and his wife, Wendy, of R. R. #7, Owen Sound, Paula Bergeron, of Owen Sound and Peggy Rouse and her husband, Stephen, of R. R. #3, Owen Sound.  Proud grandfather of Jonathon, Michelle, Darryl, Kevin, James, Christina, Scott, Brian, Stephanie, Mark and Stacie. Dear brother of Ken McPhatter and his wife, Mae, of Barrie and Melva Peterson and her husband, Vern, of Kemble.  Predeceased by his parents, Allan and Bertha McPhatter and his brother, Bill McPhatter. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K – 3X8 (519-376-7492)  on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Service for Charlie McPhatter will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Schmidt officiating.  Spring interment in Leith Cemetery.  If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Owen Sound Prostate Cancer Support Group, as your expression of sympathy.
