Peacefully at the Elgin Lodge in Port Elgin, on Tuesday morning, January 19th, 2010. Raymond Walter Tufts, of Owen Sound, at the age of 72 years. Ray is now, where he longed to be, with his beloved wife and best friend, Regina Tufts (nee Boudreau) who passed away nine months before him on April 19th, 2009. He was the son of George and Clara Tufts. He will be remembered by his in-laws, especially his caregiver, Florence Walker and her husband, John, of Tara. At Ray’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario. If so desired, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Poppy Fund would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
