Mr. William Lovegrove

Sunday, May 09, 1937 - Sunday, January 24, 2010

Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Sunday morning, January 24th, 2010.  William Arthur Lovegrove, of Owen Sound, at the age of 72 years.  Dearly beloved husband and soulmate of Pat Lovegrove (nee Phillips).  Loving father of Michelle Phillips and her husband, Jon.  Proud grandfather of Nelson, Robyn and Claire Phillips.  Dear brother of Frances Newman-Donahue and her partner, Rob McCullough, of Florida and Joyce Smithers and her husband, Don, of Truro, Nova Scotia and brother-in-law of Marilyn Lovegrove, of Barrie.  Bill will be sadly missed by his many nephews, family and close friends.  Predeceased by his parents, Lionel Lovegrove and Lillian Lovegrove (nee Groome); his friend, Jim Westbury; his dear brother, Jim Lovegrove; his brothers-in-law, Fred Newman and John Donahue.  A Memorial Service for Bill will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1331 – 4th Avenue West, Owen Sound, on Friday afternoon, January 29th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Claire Miller officiating.  Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.  Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville at a later date.  If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to St. Thomas Anglican Church, the Grey Bruce Health Services Foundation-the Stress Echo-Cardiograph or the Toronto General/Western Hospital Foundation-Pacemaker Fund as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
