Mr. David Monk

Peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday morning, March 12th, 2010. Harvey David Monk, of R. R. #2, Chatsworth, at the age of 54 years. Dearly beloved husband of Bonnie Monk (nee MacKenzie).  Loving father of Alicia Johnston and her husband, Chris, of Markdale, Ashley Monk and her friend, Darrell Blackburn, of Owen Sound, Adriana Monk and her husband, Andrew Quann, of New Brunswick, Wyatt Monk and Alana Monk, both at home.  Proud grandfather of Sadie Monk and Rossi Johnston.  Dear brother of Darlene Homenuik, of Tillsonburg, Ralph Monk and his wife, Brenda, of R. R. #8, Owen Sound, Randy Monk and his partner, Linda Rodway, of Barrie, Hillie Monk and his wife, Patty, of Guelph, Kenny Monk and his wife, Christine, of Chatsworth, Joan Ziegler and her husband, Paul, of Owen Sound and Sherry Short and her husband, Arnold, of Orillia. David will be sadly by his many nieces and nephews; his father-in-law, Bill MacKenzie and his wife, Flora, of Owen Sound; his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Grace (Nelson) Quarry, of Kitchener, Tom (Lorraine) MacKenzie, of Owen Sound, Bill (Deanna) MacKenzie, of Hanover, Don (Linda) MacKenzie, of Markdale, Sherri (Dan) McCulloch, of Owen Sound, John (Eva) MacKenzie and Doug (Rosemarie) MacKenzie, both of Edmonton, Margaret McKenzie and Duncan (Shelley) MacKenzie, both of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, Hilliard and Eleanor Monk; his mother-in-law, Mary MacKenzie; his brother-in-law, Bill Homenuik. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K – 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Monday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Service for David Monk will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
