Mr. Robert Neelands

Peacefully at his home in Owen Sound, on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010.  Robert Deavitt Neelands, of Owen Sound and formerly of Massie, at the age of 70 years. Dearly beloved son of Bernice Neelands, of Owen Sound and the late John Neelands.  Loving father of Deavitt Neelands and his wife, Jolene, of Chestermeer, Alberta, Valerie Neelands, of Chatsworth and Rob Neelands and his partner, Jodie Heathers, of Massie.  Proud grandfather of Kennedy Heathers, Preslee and Kali Neelands. Dear brother of Maxine Seabrook and her husband, Norman, William Neelands and his wife, Lola, both of Walter’s Falls, Patricia Campbell and her husband, Peter, of Holland Centre,  Constance Neelands and her husband, Carl Seeley, Hugh Neelands and his wife, Rosemary, Wendy Neelands, Edward Neelands and Andrew Neelands and his partner, Lori Ferguson, all of Massie. Robert will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great niece. A Funeral Service for Robert Neelands will be held at the Massie United Church on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Melinda Cornfied officiating. Interment in McLean’s Cemetery, Bognor. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Massie United Church as your expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
