Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, surrounded by his family, on Thursday evening, July 15th, 2010. Harold Beverley Bryans, of Owen Sound, at the age of 81 years. Dearly beloved husband of Betty Bryans (nee Scott). Loving father of Paul (Barb) Bryans, Kathy (Hardie) Fountain, Susan (Wade) Johnston, Joan Bryans, Mike (Donna) Bryans, Brent Bryans and Karen Bryans. Proud grandfather of Jesse, Jake, Melissa (Jeff), Lindsay (Darwin), Shauna, Kristal (Jayson), Steven, Nicole, Jessica and great-grandfather of Sabrina, Jolie and Madelin. Dear son-in-law of Louise Scott.  Dear brother of Milton (Millie) Bryans, Wilbur (Mary) Bryans, Howard (Mavis) Bryans, Vincent (Ruth) Bryans, Ivan (Caroline) Bryans, Evelyn (Stuart) Snowdon and Clarence (Violet) Bryans and brother-in-law of Gayle (Dave) Armstrong and Evelyn Scott. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Hazel Bryans; his step-mother, Ruby Bryans; his father-in-law, Wilmer Scott; his brother-in-law, Frank Scott. Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K – 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A Funeral Service for Bev Bryans will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, July 19th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ted Creen officiating.  Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.  If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation (Emergency Department) as your expression of sympathy.
